everything in my car ('04 trailblazer) is stock and i want to see if theres some way to hook up an ipod touch to the head unit to listen to it on the car's speakers. is there some kind of adapter i can get or something (not an fm tuner) that will work without having to replace the entire head unit? (preferably a couple hundred dollars or less, if possible) thanks
 
if you have to remove the head unit and pay a couple of hundred dollars, why not just get a new head unit?
 
Get a new head unit, preferably Alpine it is the best option for you and provides the best sound. Though if you are insistent on keeping your stock head unit go to Ford and ask for the FM tuner. It essentially is universal and is about $50
