Hi guys

I've noticed when I have my ipod connected to my comp via usb 2.0 that it appears when I launch disk defrag as FAT 32 along with the other partitions on my hard drive - anybody know what would happen if I defragged the ipod via windows defragger?

you shouldnt fragment an ipod. if you look at it, all the files are at the end of the drive. fragmenting usually tries to move files to the start of the drive.

in the case of the ipod you want it on the outside, since then the disc can spin slower but still have an increase in read speed.
