So i have had my ipod since last christmas (xmas of 04) and even though i have kept a case on it, there are alot of tiny scratches as well as a few bigger ones. well its getting old seeing what is supposed to be nice clean smooth and simple all scratched up. i wondered if there was anyway to get these scratches. recommended products or ideas etc.. I've tried windex (lol..) and this stuff my dad got to buff scratches out of the plastic on his jeep windows which is made by a company called novus. so far no luck the windex i knew wouldnt work but it was worth a try. the novus i expected to work but the deep scratch remover didnt even touch the smaller scratches. the small scratch remover was worthless... i was thinking of seeing about trading it for a new one since i have been having some problems with this one but id rather just get the scratches out rather then go through their bs.

I don't remember the thread, but there was one here about that a few weeks back. Basically it was about aguy who did the same. He used Brasso and a dremel on low speed. Kept the iPod wet with the Brasso while the dremel was running. (Please oh please tape the wheel off before you try this). Light pressure on the dremel and a rag to wipe after the dremel work is done. took most all of the scratches out. It even took a nice size gouge out of the screen. I'll search the thread for you tomorrow if you can't find it. Its a good read because it is step by step and has pictures ofr reference.

Not the one I had in mind, but that looks just as good (after glacing at it quickly). Please be careful to tape off the wheel, I don't like seeing dead iPods. :D
