Hi [H]

The iPhone is available in the UK from 9th Nov. Does anyone who owns one think that the hardware is worth the money? It seems to have a lot going for it.

Tariff here in the UK seems pretty good. But the handset also costs £270. As well as a contract, that seems a little steep.

I'd be after using if for web on the move a lot and media playback.

So, you guys think it is good value for money?

Its expensive. And there is nothing (for the most part) that you CAN'T do on another handset. If you're already an apple user, you know that you're paying for interface and user friendly-ness. If you're cool with that, then yes, the iphone is awesome :)

I bought it when it was at $600US and I still think its well worth the cost. If you have an iPod and a PDA phone you're already using, then it replaces both at a (relatively) reasonable cost. Its also lots of fun to use, very intuitive, and its just an excellent piece of hardware.
