Iphone newbie. Some questions.

Hey all, looking into getting a new phone. Thinking Iphone, but i'd like to use it on verizon.

I know I can unlock the iphone (seen something called Jailbreak mentioned around here), but i'm not sure exactly what that entails.

Is there a site that explains how all that works for the Iphones? and maybe one that lists the various addons and tweaks you can do to them.

Side question. Can you listen to music and text message or web-browse at the same time on an Iphone?

Thats good to know my friend has one and I have been checking it out. Problem is that I have Verizon so even if I unlock it... still will not work. Saves me some $$
 
I guess you're locked into a contract with Verizon thus is why you're asking if it'll work on that network. Have you thought about the Blackberry Storm since they is only for Verizon. I would have to say if your contact is near up come on over to AT&T.
