My car doesn't have an auxiliary audio port, so if I want to listen to music via my iPhone, I have to use an FM transmitter. This works okay, but I'd rather just have my phone connect to my stereo via Bluetooth and stream audio that way. Is that possible?
I know there are a number of Bluetooth after-market stereos, I've looked into a couple that are compatible with my car, but whenever they talk about Bluetooth, they say "And you can connect your phone via Bluetooth to make calls". Does that suggest that a Bluetooth connection such as that is only used for making calls, and that I couldn't play music through my phone through the Bluetooth connection? Or if it's connected via Bluetooth, will my audio come through? Or does it depend on the stereo, and if so, what should I look for?
Thanks in advance!
