Seem to experience a problem with this. At a site, the client's iPhone 4 will not connect to the AP.

The authentication method is WPA2, and I was able to join my laptop and blackberry just fine with it.

Do these iPhones not support WPA2 Personal? The event log in the WAP was showing at first the client was not authenticated, then it showed the client was associated with the AP but was not pulling a DHCP address.

Any thoughts?

I know, I know, I mentioned the "i" word, maybe Cisco does not like the "i" brand, after all them coming out with their "iPad killer".

i've had more problems with WPA2 than any other encryption type. For some reason it seems that not all manufacturers handle WPA2 the same way. I would suggest to knock the encryption type down a notch or so and see if that works.

If you can't do what Dytralis is suggesting create a new SSID with a lower security as well and try that. When the wireless was installed at my last job they had a wpa2 ssid and a wep ssid so mobile devices could connect

I use 1231ag Aironets at work, some of the new HP MSM422 access points using WPA2 and the iPhone and iPads work just fine.

We did some research and found iphones don't handle wpa2 ver 2 that well. We thought of doing a second ssid but the network does not support vlans. We might try dropping the encryption down a notch though and see if that works. We have seen some problems with wpa2 as well...
