iPhone 5 release announce projected

october 4, hopefully they can realse all iphones to all carriers :) especially sprint
 
Tmobile executive said no iPhone 5 for Tmobile this year. Bummer, was hopping for one.
 
Me getting iPhone 5 depends on Ice Cream Sandwich. If they dont plan to release ICS till Nov, I sadly might see myself getting my first Apple product :/.... Et' tu Brute? Yes, *kills self*
 
So answer me this since I've heard this called a release date and an unveiling day..... Are they UNVEILING the release date... or are they are ACTUALLY RELEASING the iPhone 5?
 
I thought I read somewhere (wsj or something) that it is being announced on the 4th and carriers will have it a few weeks later.

Everything apple does is just horrendous. Its your property yet have you ever actually read the customer terms of service? I skimmed through it and you basically do not own anything on that phone and there is wording that you basically almost do not own the phone its self.

I just cant contribute money to a company that controls every facet of every device that you pay your money to purchase. Hell they had to be taken to Federal Court to be forced to allow people to Jail break the phone because it had to be literally defined as the customers property in court.

I left Apple for good. I guess there is a reason they are the richest company on Earth. Too many people who wear wool over their face every day they leave the house are sucked into buying their shit.

In all seriousness, the new iphone is rumored to have some pretty good hardware. If iOS 5 has stuff like widgets, I may actually look into one of the phones when I go to upgrade in a month or so. That's coming from someone that loves Android and what it brings to the table (still using my original Droid...rooted of course)

Well Apple has done me and my family and almost every person I personally know wrong in some way with the Iphone 3 and 3GS. Just sayin'....

Anyways I am not saying not to get Apple. If the phone is really good and people like it then get it. Android isnt the world but the world isnt iphone either.
 
If it's just a spec bump and not a larger display and different design I might look elsewhere Either Nexus Prime or Samsung Galaxy S II as I don't like any of the other android phones.

personally from what ive heard about icloud, id take apple over google over privacy info.
 
So are they releasing an iPhone4S or iPhone5 ? Or both ? So many rumors lately I have no idea what is coming.

For me to leave Android I would like an iPhone5, with at least a 4" screen, I heard rumors of a possible 4.2" screen made by LG that is on par with Super AMOLED, that would help lure me back, and of course the notification center was much needed, now just throw Widgets in iOS5, and have crazy long last battery life, and if all that is in the new iPhone I will be very tempted. If none of that I pass.
 
iPhone 4 was released in June 2010, and there's been about 5 or 6 new Droids come out since then. Apple needs to make a substancial leap with this new phone so I'd be disappointed if it were labeled iPhone 4S. The name just screams that it's like a small tweak to the hardware and nothing else. Here's hoping for iPhone 5 and some major changes.
