iPad delayed in Canada

I personally don't have any use for it, but if anyone in Canada was waiting for late April for the iPad launch as promised, guess again. Apple has pushed it back to late May.

Since our money is pretty much worth the same, this might be a good time to hop the border if you were thinking about it and to get one at a US apple store instead.

i wanted to give one to my mother for her Bday... guess now i need to find one from the US
 
I can't wait till iPad comes out in Canada. After talking to people who have them and watched things online about them I've come to the conclusion that I will adore and have many uses for this device. The problem is I understand many people don't really need this, or won't make use of it so I understand the criticism but man I can't wait. The price point is the only thing scaring me right now, even for the crappiest version :(

My brother let me use his for a couple of days now that the "newness" has worn off and I have to agree with you. The ipad isn't the best at anything really, websurfing on the go is what it does best, but without flash I prefer my elcheapo Eee PC.
