Ipad 3 questions

i have both the touchpad (with cyanogenmod) and an ipad 3 (both 32GB)

textbooks are huge, seem to average atleast a gig each. the ipad 3 screen is very easy to read on.

depending on the size of the pdf or epub, the ipad 3 seems sluggish with them, (textbooks are snappy)

not many textbooks yet in the bookstore, most are geared towards children. you can put your own epubs on via itunes without hastle.

Next semester im lookinh to have more pdf text books, and my current HP Touchpad just hurts the eyes after any serious usage , so im looking at selling that to get an ipad 3. Just have a few questions.

1- is it really that much better for pdfs?

2- where is the best place to get one on sale......not really wanting to drop $500 on something that will be used for mainly textbook reading.....only seriously looking @ the 16gb unless there is a killer deal on the 32gb (nice having the extra space on my touchpad)

Your best option Student discount check and yes the iPad 2 3rd gen is sold refurbished but only going to save you about $50.

i prefer to read on my mobiles 3.4-inches screen, coz it's easy for me to travel with it.
