Hey fellas, I just built a new system for Christmas and am working on finding a nice stable OC. After playing with some CPU frequencies Ive decided that I would like to update my bios, but I dont know how to do it. I am running Vista 32 bit and do not have a floppy drive. I want to just use a flash drive through USB, but dont know how to do to edit the flash drive in vista.

Anyone know how I can go about flashing my bios, like i said, no floppy and vista. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
 
Abit has a program that will do it with pretty much one click called the flash bios utility
 
Thanks a lot for the link, that HP utility worked (the only that has worked in vista). Unfortunately I do not have the necessary ms dos boot files and do not know where to find them in windows.

Anyone know where I can get the boot files? Thanks!
 
I was looking at the usa and uk abit site and they both have different flash/driver/utility versions. Do I go off the uk or the usa site?
 
go off the Taiwan site.
The UK site will probably have the same versions as afaik it's administrated/hosted by Taiwan whereas the USA site isn't & is often slower to update.
