Hello,
I currently have SBS 2003 and i get an error message saying that:
"Scope 192.168.254.0, is 92 percent full with only 6 IP addresses remaining."

Can I add more IP to the scope?
Or have I encountered the end with the 75 max users/devices with the SBS 2003.

Can I just change the IP range by going to DHCP and right clicking on Scope then Properties and increasing the number as to where it ends?

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that the device limit is only for concurrent connections not dhcp.
You should be able to just make the scope larger and you should be fine.

Is the DHCP database directory in the exclusions list of your antivirus real time protection? I've seen it get "corrupted" when it's not..and your IPs don't get put back into the available pool.

Read this list.. http://www.sbsfaq.com/Lists/FAQs/DispForm.aspx?ID=137

How many devices are on the network? DHCP can hand out lots of IPs..not related to your CALs.

Thanks for the replies!
my IP pool was 192.168.254.25 - 192.168.254.99

I just was able to increase it to 150 instead of 99 and so far everything is working.

Thanks.
