IO Shield RJ45

Bought a GA-EX58-EXTREME

Why does the IO shield block the two RJ45 jacks? Whown here: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/motherboards/2009/01/21/gigabyte-ga-ex58-ud4p-and-ds4-review/1

B'Duh, think I answered my own question here. Because they use the same one for a few boards, some of which don't have the jack(s)?

I guess I can just cut the tabs out...
