anyone have of these clear protective film covers for their iPhone? I am wondering how this film is after using the phone for a month or 2..... does it get scuffed and start to peel off? I want to preserve the beauty of the phone by not getting a case, maybe a silicone case, if I must...

I've had mine on since December so about 3 months now. It works well and hasn't faded or scratched at all. The part that goes around the "chrome" trim on the face of the iphone peeled a little at the corners but i don't think i applied it correctly at those locations. But the piece that covers the whole back and the piece that covers the touch screen is still on there and doesn't look like its coming off anytime soon. I got the whole body wrap from shieldzone.com (invisible shield) and I like how its grippier now, less chance of me dropping it.

i've watched a few videos on youtube and they all seem to praise the invisi shield. so I guess I found my case!

gotta find a leather holster for when I go to work... i guess i can get the DLo

I've bought invisible shields in the past for my ipods, then when I got my Blackberry 8830, shieldzone was out of what I wanted. I ended up ordering one from www.bestskinsever.com because it was recommended by people in some forums. It's the exact same stuff as invisible shield, but you're not paying for the packaging or any fancy stuff. It's about 1/3 of the price and works just as good. My buddy ordered one for his iphone and we compared it with a friend who has an invisible shield on his. I can't see a difference.

I've had an invisibleShield on my iPod since January 2007. It's never hinted at peeling off. It's stuck on there pretty good, but can easily be peeled off (but not accidentally).

I've heard it both ways regarding BSE. I've read it's the same stuff, and I've read it's not the same stuff. What's BSE's warranty? invisibleShield has a lifetime warranty if I remember correctly.

Invisashield I bought only cost about 7 dollars for the front shield. Then its 12 dollars for the full shield. Definitely worth the money. Some complain about the ripples but thats how you get the texture of the phone. I definitely like it.

For the back to help prevent damage and provide grip, the Invisible Shield is great. I peeled mine off the front within a couple of hours of putting it on because I didn't like the increased drag and tackiness.

Drag and tackiness?

My clickwheel is as touch-sensitive as other iPods I've used. Nothing tacky about a transparent skin that you forget is even on the device. Having something on the back is a must. Mine is scratch-free and just as shiny as a new iPod. Having something on the front is pretty important too though. A scratched-up screen would be most annoying.
