Anyone else run into this? I cannot download a damn thing in the app store on my iPad cause security code is invalid,,,,,which it is not.............. I have updates and what not that are backed up cause of this bullshit. And I am not sending the apple guy any info cause the email looks fishy, he told me when he worked.......

If this keeps up I know an iPad that will be for sale...
 
eh, I know nothing of how their store works. but a cvv is usually associated to a credit card. if that is the case then there is a problem with your card.
 
I don't see how there is when I use the card else ware, and apple even charged me 10 for air display.. But anyways Ty for the help. And I do know I entered my cc info correct including the cvv
 
Start up iTunes on the PC you sync with and go to the account management section.
(Store -> View my account)
Check your payment information and re-enter the CVV info there.

Also have you tried making a purchase directly through iTunes?

I don't think any of the credit card info is stored on the iPad, only linked to your itunes account. (How bad would that be if someone stole your iPad?)

What e-mail are you talking about? Did you initiate e-mail support, or was this sent out of the blue?

Well i got off the phone with a lady from Apple, and explained what happened. We even verified my info, (had bank website pulled up with address on file with the CC) and it matched. Caps and everything. So i said screw it and deleted my card from itunes. will be using giftcards for now on. I have yet to try and download an app cause my ipad is at home.

But i just used my card on Purplus.com and it worked same info and everything.
Oh well whats done is dead. :p
