im suprised i havnt seen ANY buzz what so ever about this game "Intersteller Marines" myself just stumbling across it on the EBGames/Gamestop website looking at coming soon releases.

this is a PC, PS3, and Xbox360 game so it says :D
EBGames Shows it as a 5/1/2007 release date but who knows how accurate that is

from what it offers it seems like it could be the game ive been waiting for in terms of playing with some close friends and if it holds out true could be one of the VERY VERY few pc games offering 2-4 player CO-OP!!!!!!!!!<<<(what i was hoping would be in stalker) it almost looks like youll be in a scifi movie :)

• Captivating storyline with heavy focus on realism

• Advanced weapons simulation

• Randomized and non-linear gameplay

wow, that looks VERY intriguing for a game that i have never even heard of :)

my thoughts exactly.. why havnt we heard of it!

its got to be one of the most under hyped games in history and i think i blew its cover lol.. lets hope it pans out to be a killer game.
 
Woah, this looks cool. Hope the coop for pc is true and doesn't get dropped.
 
i'd seen this trailer a while ago, completely forgot about it though. the indoor environments look really good, but the character details are lacking and it doesn't seem all that exciting, i could be wrong and it could turn out to be the Far Cry of this gen but then again there is Crysis :p
 
i wasnt looking for it to replace crysis.. i dont think anything is going to steal crysis's thunder. But IM seems to be offering something that no one else is. Co-Op.. which if it does will add it to my game list :) reguardless of graphics
 
EBGames has it as 05/01/2007 for PC and 06/01/2007 for PS3 but they don't list 360. That trailer looks REALLY sweet. Hopefully the game ends up being just as awesome.
 
I'll reserve judgement till there's more info. The fact that they can't get a publisher is part of it. Plus the company is composed of 4 people, that was enough a long time ago, but the amount of sheer manpower necessary to make a game is much higher now. This is a proof of concept video as stated on that page. Remember the motorstorm videos compared to the actual release?

But anyway, the publisher is the one who pumps out advertisements and general media buzz, which is probably why there hasn't been much information.
 
looked like a pretty good concept until that shark-dog jumped out at the end. or was it a shark-rat? ;)

I remember I watched this trailer during the past E3. Everything looked good until the damn shark dog jumped out at the end...ruined the whole trailer.
 
Could be a decent Starship Troopers-esque title with some giant bugs (and I'm not talking software bugs). I don't think that's "playable" gameplay footage as the animations remind me too much of the Killzone 2 debacle. They say up front that it's pre-rendered, which is more than can be said of KZ2. I'll believe it when I'm playing it.
 
Looks great, Sounds great, and its coming out pretty soon.

Looks like its gonna be worth the $50 :)
 
its pre rendered using Game Content and Real-Time restrictions. meaning thats what the game should look like assuming it ever comes out. which atm isnt a for sure thing sence it doesnt look like they have a publisher, or any new info on the game. so im not holding my breath that it will be out may 1st.. but it would be nice.
 
I remember seeing this trailer a while ago and forgot about it.

Hope it get's released, looks pretty cool, but very underhyped.

LMAO

I was watching it and was really impressed with how seemles everything looked. I was writing it down so I don't forget it, since I have never heard of this game before (Zero Hype about it). Just as I finished writing Marines I see that Shark Dog and dropped the pen.

I blame Doom 3 and their skeltons with rocket launchers and upside-down face monsters. People just don't try to create scary original monsters that are not gay Shark-dogs or Zombies anymore.
 
the shark rat thing doesnt bother me, aslong and it moves fluidly and is agile and fits the story/atmosphere. i think its better than a giant rat.
