Okay networking is not my specialty but i was wondering if this would be possible.

Here there is only 3mb dsl, I happen to have two connections one each to a gaming machine. I also have a downloading computer. I was wondering if there is a way that i can make it so it uses both inet connections for larger bandwith.

Is this possible even?

This would be difficult if you do not own the other side of these links. What you are speaking of would be implemented via routing protocol load balancing or multilink ppp. Both of these must be configured on both ends. As far as a manual load-sharing method, you could put in static routes on the host side to use one router for specific destinations (such as gaming going out one link while downloading goes out another).
 
There are dual WAN port routers out there which will "load balance", and do "failover redundancy"...but you have to realize the difference in load balancing.

Here's a picture of my router at home, it has a 6 meg cable connection plugged into WAN1, and a 1.5 meg DSL connection plugged into WAN 2.

That does not mean I have 7.5 megs of download speed...at best I can still only download at what 6 megs will give me..speedwise. Yet...if I had enough computers at home to bog down my 6 meg connection...it would spill over and use up the additional 1.5 megs...in effect giving me 7.5 megs worth of throughput..just not the speed.

Plus if one WAN link goes down, the other will pick up 100% of the load.
