Hello All,


Over the last couple of weeks i have been having a lot of trouble with some sites that i visit regularly. For some reason they now take forever to load. The sites that are slow are mainley forum based sites including this one, but also graphic intensive sites that have lots of pictures. Normal browsing on the net is still very quick and normal.

When i click on a forum site for instance, the site banner seems to come up pretty quickly but the rest of the page takes minutes or more to load.

I run an antivirus scan weekly and i have also run ad aware and spybot nightly, and they have all come back with no problems found.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated,

Power cycle any network/ISP equipment, and try hitting some speed test sites to verify you're getting the majority of your bandwidth. Try contacting your ISP and provide specifics like ping times and trace routes. If you got a laptop, try going somewhere else and using a different ISP to see if the same results happen -- coffee shops, a friend's house, etc.
