Howdy, fellow gurus.

Since many of you are parents, I was hoping someone could give me a recommendation on a good, free, reliable internet filtering software product. I'm looking for something that'll basically help my family keep tabs on my little brother's internet habits and block questionable/racist/violent/pornographic websites. He's 14 years old and at that point where curiosity overrides good judgement, blah blah blah. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! The key is, it has to be free!

EDIT: Before anyone starts going off topic about how cyber-censorship is a farce or that my parents should pay closer attention to my brother while on the computer - I don't want to hear it. My entire family (myself excluded) is new to computers and high speed internet. They simply cannot grasp the kind of content available on the internet, and thus they don't have any idea what to protect my brother from. Any edge I can give them would be helpful.

If you are running XP then K9 Web Protection works extremely well & it's completely free. If you are running Vista then parental controls are built into the O/S. Good luck.

+1 for K9... seems to work really well. However, it does not, at least as far as I know "monitor" any activity, just gives you the ability to lock down his browser as tightly as you'd like.

Awesome! Some Googling actually turned up this software, but I wasn't too sure about how good it is. Thanks for the recommendations!
