Heya, I have this very odd problem. I recently noticed my computer slowing down considerably. I did the usual stuff, virus scan, chkdisk, windoctor, defrag etc. Everything else loads like it does when it was first installed, but Internet Explorer can take up to a minute to load.
During this time, you can hear the hard drives make a noise like a geiger counter, sorta like crickets.
Bear in mind I'm on a RAID 0 too.
Are there any specific programs (freeware if possible) that are specially made for defragging RAID arrays?
Oh yeah, I found and removed some trojans earlier, trojan byte varify, does this cause slowdown of loading etc?
Please help me, my system and install is less than 2 months old... this time I have no idea what the problem is
