Looks too childish to be taken seriously. And even if it is the Internet, some things do need to be serious. This is one of them.
 
I don't have a suggestion for what would be better other than to say the reference should bear some resemblance to the referent so it's easily remembered and makes sense to people observing it.
 
"Teh internetz" is a series of tubes, and these tubes are filled with cats.
Never forget this.
 
Part of the awesomeness of the internet is the lulz, and not to take things to seriously. Try to look beyond the silly logo and see the importance behind what they are doing. SOPA might have been knocked down, but the government will just keep trying over and over until we aren't paying attention.
