What's the most common reason to get an intermittent power-on?

Shutdown always goes without a hitch. Its that sometimes when I go to power it on, its like it goes into standby (fan & LEDs turn on, but no monitor signal or boot-up.

If I switch the main power on the back of the PSU, that resets it. Then the machine will start fine.

Any ideas?
 
ha ha ha,maybe the battery is not younger,aging!
you can use a mutilemeter to measure the each battery in UPS!normal statues:12V
