Just got a Dell 600M, So far it's running pretty good except for this little problem I can't seem to figure out.. the new problem I am having is randomly when I will insert the usb jump drive (Lexar 128mb Jumpdrive) in to either usb port nothing will happen, however, if I remove it and reinsert it, it will work (also after it works the first time it will contiune work when I unplug it and repluge it in again) then a few hours or days later it will repeat the same problem. I have never seen this happend with a usb devices before either they work or they don't I am very confused as to this problem.. I am running WinXP Pro with all updates and everything else I plug into has worked just fine and on the first try ( from mice, to my sony camera, PDA ) . Now the jumpdrive is fine, it works on my desktop and the lab computer at school on the first try. anybody have the foggest ideal what is going on. I even checked out the power consumption and the lexar only uses 90MA..
P.S this a done it on both of my installs of windows & and doesn't seem to be a hardware problem because when I plugged it in one time and the problem occured I rebooted and when to my boot options, once their I noticed I was given the option of choosing my jumpdrive.
