Why do my SATA hard drives on my DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR cause the Safely Remove Hardware wizard thing to show up in the tray?

This is a new rig I put together using 2 Raptors(Raid) and a 3rd hard drive on the Nvidia SATA. I had the same setup on my intel board and I never got that remove hardware thing. I mean I really dont want to remove my hard drives, kinda like them where they are heh.

What could be causing that thing to show up like that?
 
SATA-II compliant drives and controllers are hot pluggable. The NF4 Ultra/SLI is SATA-II ready, so they allow drives to be removed/connected without powering down the system. However, Windows needs to know when this is going to happen, especially if you are using write caching. Any cached writes still in the buffer when the drive is disconnected are lost, and very strange and bad things can happen to data as a result. When you use the wizard, Windows tells the drive to flush the buffer and write through to the physical disk.

Hotplugging is generally an enterprise level feature, for keeping large RAID-5 arrays and such going without powerign down the system. Not a big deal to you.
