my wife's grandma passed away this morning, she was 96 and an amazingly strong woman, taught grade school during WW2, she's been suffering from dementia for the past few years, in the end it got so bad she couldn't remember the name of her only son.

on this day I hit project-wide #99

just one of those days where the sad outweighs the happy.

Sorry for your families loss, dementia/alzheimers in my family is the reason I fold too.

She sounds like she was quite the character, and no doubt had some testing times to live in.
 
Anyone who was teaching during WW2 grew up during the great depression. Those were tough years.

She lived a good long life its a shame her brain left first...
