Interesting Cooling Scenario

I want to move into a shed (am I insane? NO!). The only problem with this is the shed has no airconditioning and I live in Louisiana. At night I could turn on a small window AC unit to go to sleep, but it would be ineffective during the day.

So my dilemma is how do I keep my computer (which is overclocked) cool enough when it's going to get up to maybe 85 degrees in there?

My first idea is to buy one of those portable coolers (like an ice chest with a tiny ac unit) and put it right up next to the intake fans on the case.

What you think about condensation? Would that be a factor?
 
Id think it would be...Also the fact that you live in louisiana (ive never been but ive heard its quite humid?) If your running stock cooling then upgrading the HSF and the GPU cooler would probabley be wise. given that your OCing im sure they already are though, so maybe look in to water cooling? you could throw together a system for not very much. Also, i have a friend who used a car radiator for his computer radiator. it was so much surface area that he didnt need a fan on it. since your in a shed i imagine you would proabley put this somewhere out of the way and just pump water to it, and use a face with a speec control depending on your cooling/noise level needs. also you could just go buy a nice little fan at walmart, open the side of your case and let it rip. ive run my computer when it was in excess of 100 in my room, and its still kickin :) so its really up to you

No, it will only form where a cold surface meets warm air. If you have col air inside the case, the only place that would happen is outside the case where the cool metal touches warm shed-air. You should just air condition the whole shed. Come on, you're giving your computer more comfortable living conditions than yourself? :eek:
