15 sec/frame. Just thought it was interesting as my previous ones on my lappy were about 250-500. Should go by quickly regardles.. (relatively)

3.4722222222222222222222222222222 days to finish this wu, if I'm doing the math right.

GROMACS core.

! down to 14 sec/frame. 2 days 7 hrs left..

Are you running the graphical client?

This is my output from the console client on a P2124.

It's about 37:33 (mm:ss) per "frame" which is generally thought of as 1% of a work unit on everything but tinker core work units. Tinkers are 400 frames.

If my math is correct you are running at 46.6 minutes per 1%.
20000x14= 280000 seconds for the whole unit.
280000/100= 2800 seconds per 1% (frame).
2800/60= 46.666666666666666666666666666667 minutes per frame.

Sorry....I was just trying to figure out if I was going fast or slow compared to your times.
Nothing to see here. Move along folks.

Frames are the most missed used term in this FAH deal.

Some call frames = 1% (Gromac frame 1 of 100 = 1%)
Some call frames these 20,000 mess or 50,000 what not

Confusing cus then you need to divide 20,000 by what ever (200) to get to of 100 units.

oh...those are beasts. They run slow on everything i have. 2-4 days is the usual

Mine look like ...............

Luck ........... :D

Running graphical clients on my lappy and office borg. Couldnt get the consols to work. The lappy is dual core, and wanted to run 2, but no dice :(

:p

Those WU's are FTL, I start running UD whenever those are getting sent out. I just feel that the points are not a true representation of the cpu time put into them

Man this sucks. another one. and to Boot.. a 50,000 frame WU (p2138) at 5.4 sec/frame. If it weren't for my GPU, id be making points only once a week..

I got one of these also and it's taking about the same lenght as yours is

Protein: p2414_Ribo_tryptophan280

1hr 4 minutes per frame. 100 frames. This is from the console client. 4.44 days to finish. That's 135ppd, and 67points/ghz per day. Not too shabby.

I decided that it's cool enough I can run my computer in my studio without having to strip down and apply ice packs all over me to keep cool.

Code:
[15:22:08] Project: 2414 (Run 187, Clone 7, Gen 15)
[15:22:08]
[15:22:08] Assembly optimizations on if available.

shit. just finally finished a 50,000 frame WU, and got like 400 points. almost 3 days. and what do i get? ANOTHER ONE.

Last week I got a bunch of little deals, 200 and 500 frames that took about 1 day......then Thursday......BAM.....both of my boxes that run 24/7 got hit with 20000 and 50000 frames units.......see ya next week. :(
