I'm interested in folding for the [H]orde

I downloaded the console client, and turmelle's service installer. I have EMIII to chart my work, etc.

I am folding for team 33 obviously...what else do I need to do?
I read somewhere about adding my name to the hardfolding site...how would I go about that?

anything I forgot to do?

Welcome to the [H]orde!

If you are folding for team 33 (correctly set up in the client), then you are one of us.
When you turn in your first completed WU your name should appear on the list for the team.

I don't have to do anything about the [H]orde members link or anything?

I saw that it says add your info and then has a username and password box.

first unit should be done in about an hour and a half, so I guess I'll see what's up then.

Make a short cut on your desktop, or start folder. The command line should look somthing like this

\Folding\FAH4Console.exe -advmethods -forcesse

\Folding\ being the folder where I put the program.

Fold on

Perhaps you are asking about putting your personal information up on the Members section of the [H]orde webpage.

http://www.hardfolding.com/index.php?go=37

If so, you can add your personal information there.
However, this is independent of joining the team. If you set up folding for Team=33 then you're a member.
But, hey, why not put your info on the [H]orde page? I'm there and proud of it!

those always confuzle me

If Turmelle's installer is used, you're good to go with the best "set and forget" flags ... installers are the bomb.

first two WU done (only one is up on stanford's page so far under Ch1m3r4 [H]

will try to get my p3 850 up and running later this week...damn school for making me study and stuff

might have a p4 1.4 on the way too...but I have to mull that one over. It's loaned to me for research work w/ my college and NASA, and I'm allowed to install programs I want, but I'll probably ask how they feel about me folding 24/7

If the machine that is loaned to you from NASA isn't searching for LGM, and you have permisssion to use installed programs, bandwidth and electricity it seems that you have permission.

the machine technically belongs to my boss, purchased with funds from a variety of research grants, fundings, etc.

it isn't running LGM or any other NASA specific stuff because they previous student to have it (a graduate student) was not on a NASA funded project.

I have the ok to install stuff.
I have access to the internet and the bandwidth use is negligible.
Electricity consumption is I'm assuming fairly negligible in the grand scheme of things.

Sounds like I've got another 1.4 ghz coming

the NASA code is some fortran stuff, so it's nothing too intensive nor does it run for long periods of time, so folding will probably get the vast majority of the cpu cycles.
