interchangeable 2.4ghz CPU's?

I have a compaq presario 2190us with a celeron 2.4ghz northwood CPU and was thinking to replace it with a p4 2.4ghz prescott CPU from my old desktop. So my quesion is, is this even possible?
 
Nope. After looking at the manual you are only to use these:

Intel Pentium 4-M (1.8-, 1.9-, 2.0-, and 2.2-GHz)
Intel Pentium 4-D (2.53-GHz)
Intel Celeron (1.6-, 1.7-, 1.8-, 2.0-, and 2.4-GHz)

Why would you want to try and stick a Prescott into a laptop anyway?? There for surely won't be adequate cooling for it and the battery life will be nil.

your right about the cooling. I just wanted a little boost on the lappy since it would never use it as a traveling pc, cus the battery is already dead. Anywhoo the CPU that I was gonna pop in would have damaged the board probably, since it is a P4-E 2.4ghz prescott. Thanks for your advice.
