Any idea when INTEL are is coming out with this?

What benefits would it provide over theP67/H67 chipsets?

pretty sure you will have gpu video and the ability to o/c.

H= video but no o/c

P= o/c with no video.

might have it backwards.

Z68 is coming in Q2.

The benefits over P67/H67:
RST SSD caching, which lets you use a SSD to speed up HDD accesses. It's sort of like a DIY hybrid drive, but should be a lot faster given the smallest SATA SSD sizes are much bigger and often much faster than the small amount of flash on hybrid drives.

And that's pretty much it. :p Not worth waiting for IMO if you're using a PCI-E video card. AT thinks H67/P67 boards may get the same feature when RST 10.5 is released.

Too bad it didn't at least add switchable graphics.

SO no use of waiting for the INTEL Z68 chipset?

I was able to find some more info here

You get overclocking plus video outputs to use the integrated GPU. If you're not using the integrated GPU, then no, there's no use waiting based on the information available right now.

Dont need Integrated GPU

anything else this chip offers that the P67 doesn't?

Nope, again. Nothing available shows new features except the SSD caching in the RST 10.5 update I posted above.

Z68 = P67 + gpu, or H67 + oc.

It will be of interest to those who want the HD3000 graphics but also want to to OC.

If you want to use the video encoding acceleration (Quick Sync or whatever it is called) AND overclock you will have to wait for Z68. Actually there is little reason to get a SB CPU if you don't need that and already use an Nehalem.
