1st lemme say .. yea !! the boards are back .. now onto my ques ..

I've heard that ATI cards have issues with Xeon chips .. has anyone here had issues when using an ATI card in a Dual Xeon box ? if so were you able to resolve it ?

also .. I just purchased a x800 Pro for my Dual Xeon box (hasn't arrived yet) .. is my setup going to really limit that card in the gaming department ? specs for the box are below ..

thanks for the help ..

I've not had any issues whatsoever, but 2.2GHz will definitely hold an x800 back. It won't be that bad though.

Since most gaming is fairly single-processor based, I think that a 2.2GHz Xeon would really limit performance. You might consider dropping in some 2.8s/3.06s/3.2s instead, if you have the cash. The new cards are so powerful that CPUs really have trouble keeping up. For the new top of the line videocards, it really seems like you'd need a top of the line CPU to maximize your card's performance.
