I've got an 80GB G1 x25m that's been a solid workhorse as my system drive on my main rig. I know that the optimizer won't work on G1's, but it's not giving me 'estimated life remaining' either. Smart is enabled, and there is even data for E9 in 'smart details' which I believe is what ELR is based on.

So you're trying to determine the remaining life for your SSD? Maybe try crystaldiskinfo.

I tried SSDLife and it worked, but would like to know if there's something I'm missing with the Intel utility, whether it's specific to G1/G2 or something else. Config? It being a boot drive perhaps? Chipset limitations?
