Intel stock or arctic freezer pro

so I am going to be putting together my PC upgrade tonight.
I have a intel core 2 duo e6850 which came with the stock fan. I also bought a arctic freezer 7 pro. Which one would you recommend? I just wanted to double check about the stock fan, would the freezer pro I bought perform better than the stock fan?

I do not plan on overclocking

The freezer should perform better, so if you already have it you might as well use it.

Freezer should give you better temps and will probably be quieter as well.

Use AS5 if you have it. The pads are pretty much all crap.

No AC's pad is MX2 paste way better than AC5

+1 for AC.

I upgraded my E6400 to AC7pro even at stock speeds for better temps. The stock cooler was fine but this is quieter and more capable.

It's a little thick and it'll cover the entire CPU instead of the "core" (like we apply a small dot of AS5) but it's great stuff
