I am trying to create an image of win7. The backup started yesterday afternoon and is is still going. The size of the image is only 90 gig. I'm backing up to an external drive.

Does it take this long? My pc is set on AHCI.

It shouldn't take anywhere near that long. What kind of external drive and how is it connected? Can you post a CrystalDiskInfo and a CrystalDiskMark screencap for the external drive, and the internal as well?
