We have a complete pricing list of all Intel’s new eco-friendly processors announced yesterday. If you are not familiar with Intel's new processors yet, I highly recommend you give our 45nm Yorkfield QX9650 evaluation a read and get up to speed.

Built using an entirely new transistor formula that alleviates the wasteful electricity leaks that threaten the pace of future computer innovation, Intel Corporation today unveiled 16 server and high-end PC processors. In addition to increasing computer performance and saving energy use, these processors also eliminate eco-unfriendly lead and, in 2008, halogen materials.

Those are some really nice prices! When do you think we'll see them retailing for that?

But you're going to need a socket 771 board correct? I need something for a MicroATX sized project.

I'm still going to wait for price drop; may as well upgrade mobo in the meantime :(

They need a new quad for around $300-400 on 45nm.. I guess that's still to come, but I was hoping sooner than later..

Later is what Intel says as well. Most likely this is because they want to continue to pump out 65nm chips for the Holidays and work on building up a supply of mainstream chips. Hopefully we'll see this hit the market no later than March'08.
