Hi, in few weeks I had a lot of my partitions (bigger than 2 TB) that get corrupted on new 3 or 4 TB HDDS, so I would like to update intel drives of my old Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4, but it seems that I can install only the one on gigabyte site, 8.9.0.1023

the newer ones (12.8.0.1016 or 11.7.0.1013) on intel site give me error, or my system did not meet the minimum requirements (don’t know which ones, ahci was enabled, I have windows 7, 32bit, no raid)

do I have to stick with Intel Matrix Storage console 8.9? update to windows 8 should help?

Only use later than 8.9 on systems of ICH10R and later. Older 7,8 & 9 should stay with 8.9 as it is stable.

OS choice wont help unless you put ICH to AHCI and use Storage Spaces in Windows 8.
