Intel RAID Migration?

Earlier this week my Gigabyte P35C motherboard failed and I was no longer able to boot my machine. I am replacing the Motherboard and possibly the CPU (time for quad core?) and my question was regarding the RAID on the Intel ICH9R RAID controller.

I had three drives plugged into the controller. Two were on RAID 0 and the other wasn't setup with RAID. I had important stuff I wanted to keep on the non RAID drive and on the RAID configuration. I know the stuff on the non-RAID (single) drive is fine because I can plug it into any standard SATA port and it works.

However the RAID drives have important data too. I'm unsure if I'll get the same motherboard or not as a replacement (but it will have the same ICH9R controller) and I have no problems re-installing Windows if I have to.

What I want to know is first if I get the same make/model motherboard, will it work if I plug in the RAID drives correctly (i.e. will it recognize it) and will it work if I use a different motherboard with the same controller?

I have already flagged the drives with electrical tape + a permanent marker so I will know how they should be plugged in but I want to see what you guys think or if anyone has ever done this before.

Thanks!
