depends if you want 2 8x pci rails or 2 16x pci rails

Ask canadaownsjoo, he has the a x48 asus rampage...can't remember if he had the extreme or not, but he rocks a q9650 w/ one of those mobo's you are inquiring about

Not really IMO but some people are willing to pay a premium for the Q9650.


What I really want is a Q9550 with E0 stepping S-SPEC SLB8V.
