Well, I'm looking into buying a Q6600, but in my research, I noticed last price drop was in july. now, I know its the holidays now and all, but any chance of a decent price drop in the next 2 months? just trying to figure if it would be worth my time to wait.

intel price drop soon?

Usually if there's a price drop coming, we hear about it (as in the July 22nd drops). Although they could switch things up I suppose. Currently though, intel doesn't have much competition and their prices are already damn good, so I doubt we'll see one (but it would be nice to be wrong
