Intel P4 2.8c Ghz
2x Kingston DDR-SDRam PC3200 256Mb
ASUS P4P800 Mobo

Currently at 3193Mhz (50c load, 36c idle) (temps on MBM) (stock cooling)
at 228.0 FSB x14 multiplier and a vcore of 6.125
FSB : DRAM (1:1)

Is it ok? And i kinda worry whether the temperature shown is correct or not.

Temp is fine but v-core seems high (assuming that's 1.6X volts). Mine does 3.25 stock volts, but temp goes over 50C.

Temps are good. If you want a higher overclock try changing the ram ratio to 5:4 and bump up your fsb. You should have more fsb headroom. My 2.8c is running at 250 fsb.

You guys running on stock cooling???
How do u exactly know how much vcore to put for a selected fsb?
Also, what are the best temps(range) for an overclock?

You put the lowest vcore you can get away with. You overclock, then run prime95 (or another really good CPU stress testing program), and if there are any errors that show up (I let mine run over night at least), then you raise the vcore a notch until it's stable.

Never raise the vcore above 1.7 volts though, that's when pentium 4's just start dying randomly from "Sudden Northwood Death Syndrome". I'd never take one past 1.6 volts, which is where mine's at.

Temps are fine though :)
