Intel Netport Express 10/100 configuring

I recently aquired a used 10/100 server.
OS: Win2k
The software can not find the server.
I tried IE v6, NetportManager 5.50 and Web Enterprise Manager v1.2
I can print a test page.

Protocol Information:

TCP/IP running
IP 10.10.32.40
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 10.10.32.1
IP address set manually


Microsoft printing: disabled
IPX: disabled
novell print server: disabled
novell remote printer: disabled
appletalk: disabled

I set the network settings in Win2k to match server. With a crossover cable I get a link lite and can ping server from dos prompt.

Would someone please help me.

It appears you have the correct IP settings.


Now you need to enable "Microsoft Printing"

On your browser command line, enter 10.10.32.40

This loads a web page inside the server.

From here you can enable "Microsoft Printing"


Unless !!!! You are locked out by a password.
