Legit Reviews has put together an Intel LGA2011 CPU cooler roundup featuring nine coolers from Intel, Corsair, Noctua, NZXT and more. Hit the link if you are in the market for a new cooler.

Today we have a roundup of 9 CPU coolers, both water and air, for the new Intel LGA2011 socket. Coolers that we will be looking at came in from Coolink, Corsair, Intel, Noctua, NZXT, and Zalman. These coolers range in price for the budget minded and over $100 for enthusiasts. Join us and see how all the coolers stack up and handle the new Intel Core i7-3960X processor. We will declare a winner based on both price and performance.

Damn, I think they just need to start making mobos larger now to hold everything rather than trying to cram everything into a a tiny mini-tower case.

This seems pointless, they don't take temperatures multiple times to rule out thermal paste applications, and they don't take measurements based on the delta temp but rather the final temp. This test shows nothing really unless of course the room is kept at the same temperature at all times and every application of thermal paste was the same.

While what you both say is true, the tests show the coolers performing where one would think they should based on other reviews.

Glad to see more love for Noctua. I really dig the C-14 in my kinda-tiny HTPC case. Wish they were cheaper though!

Seems about right, i just picked up an H80 for my computer and it keeps my i7 920 @ 4 ghz pretty damn chilly in comparison to the scythe mugen 2 i had on there. Load temps dropped over 10C.
