Intel Inside logo sticker

You got the wrong logo sticker in a boxed processor? You can probably call Intel and ask for the right one.

My 478 Prescott didn't come with that sticker either. I think they only started shipping the hyperthreading sticker with the 775 processors, but I could be wrong.

yeah, all the dell's i see with HT chips in them all have the regular ol p4 logo

I wonder if you just happened to get a Dell (or other major manufacturer) boxed processor.

Mine came like that too. I don't have the little HT stripes at the top. Big OEM's don't get retail processors, they get stickers in rolls and processors in trays.

You should get a sticker from Intel. It will make your CPU run faster.

My Northwood came with the HT logo sticker. Maybe they just made HT a given when prescott launched?
