Intel G860 Dual Core Processor

Well, I have absolutely nothing against using hardware if you already have it.

Those GTX 580s overclocked will still be within the power limits of his 750 watt power supply, especially since they're going to be overclocked only on air, and I highly doubt he can do any overvolting. The overvolting is what dramatically increases power draw, not the overclocking itself.
