Intel E6300 Core 2 Duo?

I'm interested in buying a Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Dual Core Processor LGA775 Conroe 1.86GHZ 1066FSB 2MB Retail and a ASUS P5B ATX LGA775 Conroe 965P DDR2 PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 3PCI 6 SATA2 Sound Motherboard combo from NCIX for $365 CDN. Would this be a decent upgrade from my current PC? (in sig) I'm mostly playing Battlefield 2 and Day of Defeat: Source with my PC, would I see much of an improvement? Thanks!
 
Would it be worth it to save $50 and go for e4300? Also, are the e4300 and e6300 capable of playing new games? Thanks!
 
don't waste your money on the e6300. I would choose either the e4300 or the e6420, both will do fine in games for you.
