I'm looking for a mobo for my intel e4500. The specs say it runs @800mhz, I was wondering if I could use an Asus P5k which is rated for 1333/1066MHz, I think it would be ok, I just wanted to check here first.

Yup .. it should be just fine. It supports 1333 / 1066 / 800 MHz FSB core2duos. IF you are looking at overclocking you may want to check out overcloking reviews of the board before taking the plunge.

thanks for the reply....i'm not going to oc it, I bought a gigabyte ga965p-ds3 and it's acting really weird and I've used a P5K before and really liked it...don't know why i strayed from asus..
