Can anyone give me a tutorial on how to overclock my processor on my Intel DP55WG motherboard? My computer knowledge is high and I could do it easily on my older Asus board.
 
To expand a little, do you mean its literally not possible or it is very difficult but of confusing settings?

Not quite. The DP55WG does allow for some overclocking; however, the components on that mobo do limit the overclocking stability (or rather the highest stable overclock) compared to some other P55 mobos in the same price range as the DP55WG that use more robust components. If Intel didn't allow overclocking on its P55 mobos, then the Turbo mode would have been either permanently disabled or permanently fixed on Auto (with no way at all whatsoever to manually disable it) in the DP55WG's BIOS, and it would have permanently fixed the DIMM voltage to 1.54V (1.50V after accounting for Vdroop) and all of the other voltages would have been permanently fixed on Auto (which allows for too great of a voltage variance to run a CPU stably).

On the other hand, the cheaper DP55WB, the microATX cousin to the DP55WG, is the one board in the Intel-branded P55 mobo line that has very limited overclocking options.
