Hey guys,
Sorry, it's a bit crazy these days for me. I wanted to know what you guys think about waiting or buying now.
I currently have an AMD Opteron 170 OC'd and it's been serving me VERY well (my first foray into AMD).
I'd like to come back to Intel and I've been wanting a Core 2 Duo. BUT...now that I've been waiting this long, I'm wondering, is there something else coming soon that I should just wait for?
What's on the horizon and what's available now that'll take care of me with regards to DX10 gaming?
Thank you all in advance.
EDIT: Ok so I did some more thread picking and came to the following question:
I'm assuming it's wise to wait for January 2008 at this point, with the 45nm processors being imminent.
But for the current time, between the QX6850 and Q6600, the performance difference is negligible?
That is my question
