I'm wondering if the i5-750 stock cooler is good enough while playing games and I'm not going to overclock the i5 750.

The stock cooler is designed to be sufficient for the CPU under any reasonable conditions providing it is running at its default speed and voltages. Since you won't be doing any overclocking, it will be perfectly sufficient for cooling the CPU.

It's probably fine.

I ordered an aftermarket cooler for my i7 860 even though I am not overclocking.

1. I wanted to ensure the CPU stays cool, since temperature is one of the parameters determining when turbo mode is enabled.
2. I wanted something that would be quiet.
