why are the bios on my intel865perl so restricted?

Two words.... Intel bios. 
Seriously though, Intel boards aren't usually loaded with overclocking options, you need another manufacturer who makes boards with intel chipsets. Asus tends to make good boards, other manufacturers as well, just browse the forums a bit, you'll get some recommendations.

LOL. I had teh same board and the same question before. Great for stability though.ocrazyitaliano said:
